TERTIARY: Gopnik, Adam. "United States - The United States Enters the Great War." Encyclopedia Britannica Online. Encyclopedia Britannica, n.d. Web. 03 Apr. 2016. I used this source to learn about the time period, and other major event occurring during the time. This article put the progressive era in perspective. That during this time, there was the flu klux klan, white supremacy, the ending of the war, and on top of that, women were fighting for their civil liberties and rights. The 19th amendment was ratified in 1920, allowing women a say in the legislature and a say in country. This definitely showed the aspect of determination of women, how no matter what is happening they will reach equality politically.

The Editors of Encyclopædia Britannica. "Women's Trade Union League (WTUL)." Encyclopedia Britannica Online. Encyclopedia Britannica, n.d. Web. 03 Apr. 2016. An informational article about women banding together to create more fair work conditions along with better pay. I by far got most of my information from this source. I learned about the trade union, and how all women were working together to get netter working conditions and better pay. I compared it to today how women get paid less for the same job, and that these women banded together to establish a union for themselves. If people today had the same tenacity and determination, surely we will see equality among the pay for men and women.
